Dual degree program provides two individual undergraduate degrees from both GNU and its counterpart provided that a student satisfies all the graduate requirements asked by both universities which concluded a dual degree program agreement.
Operation of the Dual Degree Program
In principle, GNU and its counterpart specify that the study period for undergraduate students must be 4 semesters (2 years) at each university. In other words, a student is supposed to study for 1.5 year at GNU (3 semesters), 2 years (4 semesters) at the other university, and another 6 months (1 semester) at GNU.
Credits earned at the other university are approved and transferred to GNU within the scope of the maximum annual credits allowed for the department (major) where the student is registered, but they must not exceed one?half of the credits required for graduation.
Credits earned at the other university are approved in the same way as those acquired at GNU and transferred according to the categories of majors, liberal arts, and electives.
In case credits earned at the other university are insufficient for graduation from GNU, the student may acquire the remaining credits at GNU.
